HPMS and Census 2000

The State of Michigan ascribes a special significance to
the use of the Adjusted Urbanized Boundary.  Because
of its "local" importance in Michigan, the Michigan
Department of Transportation has developed a set of
materials to guide their local agencies through the
adjustment process.  This information is shared below.
